Both laboratories are adequately furnished with essential instruments, equipment, specimens, models, and other necessary laboratory facilities required for conducting Zoology practical classes.
The laboratories provide facilities for practical work in various areas of Zoology, including Animal Diversity, Cell Biology, Genetics, Physiology, Ecology, Developmental Biology, Entomology, Sericulture, and other relevant disciplines. The availability of appropriate laboratory equipment enables students to develop practical skills, scientific observation, experimentation, and analytical abilities.
The two laboratories are regularly utilized for practical classes, demonstrations, student projects, seminars, and other departmental academic activities. The well-maintained and adequately equipped laboratory facilities contribute significantly to creating an effective and student-friendly teaching-learning environment in the Department of Zoology.
ICT classroom
ICT-Enabled Classroom
The Department of Zoology has one ICT-enabled classroom equipped to support modern, technology-assisted teaching and learning. The classroom facilitates the use of multimedia presentations, digital learning materials, educational videos, animations, diagrams, and other ICT-based resources during lectures and practical-oriented discussions.
The ICT-enabled classroom provides a student-friendly learning environment and helps teachers explain complex Zoological concepts through visual and interactive methods. It is also utilized for student seminars, presentations, departmental academic activities, and other technology-supported teaching-learning programmes.
The availability of an ICT-enabled classroom strengthens the Department's teaching infrastructure and promotes the effective integration of digital technology into undergraduate Zoology education.
