The faculty of various departments of Netaji Mahavidyalaya not only serve as educators but also engage in research to advance knowledge and contribute to their respective fields of interest through publications in various reputable, prestigious national and international journals. A majority of faculty hold the Doctor of Philosophy Degree and work as postdoctoral fellows, which significantly ornamented the college. As part of the undergraduate curriculum, every department conducts research to guide and supervise students. Additionally, many faculty members supervise the research work of interested postgraduate students at Burdwan University. Not only that, the faculty members attend various international, national, state, and local seminars, webinars, and workshops as participants, invited speakers, and organizers, organized by research institutes, universities, colleges, and other concerned organizations. Research Highlights:
- Each department of the college conducts the research program as per the curriculum of NEP 20.
- Several research projects {Hyperlink to Major Research Project} are conducted by the faculties of different departments, such as Botany (completed 2015), Chemistry and Environmental Science as project instructor (PI) and funded by the University Grand Commission (UGC).
