
Netaji Mahavidyalaya is committed to ensuring student and staff welfare through health care initiatives, supported by its active NSS {Hyperlink to NSS page} and NCC {Hyperlink to NCC page} units.
1) The institutions are well equipped with FIRST AID facilities.
2) The college offers periodic health check-ups from the Students’ Health Home, where services from qualified doctors and competent staff are available.
3) In emergency cases, the Health Home refers the patients to Arambagh Subdivision Hospital or, if necessary, to the Students Health Home at Moulali or better hospitals in Kolkata by the ambulance provided by them.
4)Dr. Ashok Kumar Nandi, MD, General Physician and Dr. Rajaram Jana, DGO, MS (Gyno) are presented on a call basis
5)The institution frequently conducts seminars, workshops, and programs to raise students' awareness of physical and mental health, nutrition, hygiene, and preventive care.
6) The college also organizes outreach programs, such as blood donation camps, eye-checking camps, medical camps and free treatment, in collaboration with medical professionals.
7) With strong support from NSS and NCC volunteers, the college promotes health consciousness, community service, and other health-related activities.
8) So far as hygiene facilities are concerned, there is an arrangement for toilet and room cleaning regularly and campus cleaning fortnightly.
There is also an arrangement for safe drinking water from a water purifier, both for the staff and the students.
