Netaji Mahavidyalaya

• The department has made a substantial contribution to academic and research endeavors. The students consistently hold the top positions in the university. Students are finding their spot in PG programs at various universities every year. In reputable institutions, some students are pursuing research degrees. Additionally, the department completed PhD programs.

• One major research project was completed.
• Botanical study tours for field work and exposure of students to nature, forests, and different flora.
• The Ph. D. degree is awarded to two research students who have registered for it.
• Fourty-seven students are pursuing M.Sc. in botany; four students are pursuing their Ph.D. in botany, in different universities (2018–2025).
• Four students have GATE qualifications and six students have CSIR JRF qualifications.
• Four students have been accepted by the State Government School and are WBSSC and WBPSC qualified, one is accepted into a state-funded college after passing the WBCSC.
