Dr. Rajkumar Pramanik is a State Aided College Teacher (Category-I) in the Department of Bengali (UG & PG) at Netaji Mahavidyalaya. He has been serving the institution since August 29, 2014, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students. He believes that teaching is not only about explaining texts but also about helping students discover new ways of thinking through literature.
His area of research is Rabindra Sahitya (Rabindranath Tagore's Literature). He is deeply interested in exploring Tagore's literary vision, humanistic ideals, and philosophical thought. Through his research and teaching, he encourages students to understand how Tagore's writings continue to speak to the questions of modern life and human values.
In the classroom, Dr. Pramanik promotes careful reading, open discussion, and critical thinking. He believes that literature has the power to broaden the mind, deepen empathy, and strengthen our understanding of society and culture.
Through his dedication to teaching and his interest in research, he continues to inspire students to appreciate the richness of Bengali literature and to develop a lifelong habit of learning and reflection.
