Mr. Pradip Kumar Pal is a Associate Professor in the Department of Bengali (UG & PG) at Netaji Mahavidyalaya. He has been serving the institution since February 17, 2001, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Over the years, he has remained committed to nurturing a love for literature and encouraging students to think with clarity and sensitivity.
His area of research is Pre-Modern Literature, where he explores the literary traditions that continue to shape Bengali language, culture, and society. He believes that the study of early literature helps us understand the roots of our cultural identity and the values that have been passed down through generations.
In 2018, he successfully completed a UGC Minor Research Project, reflecting his dedication to academic inquiry and scholarly research. His work combines careful study with a genuine interest in sharing knowledge with students.
Through his teaching, research, and guidance, Mr. Pal inspires students to appreciate the richness of Bengali literary heritage and to see literature as a bridge between the past and the present.
