Detailed Profile

Dr. Archan Chattopadhyay is an Associate Professor in the Department of Bengali (UG & PG) at Netaji Mahavidyalaya. He has been serving the institution since March 5, 1997, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Over the years, he has earned the respect of his students and colleagues through his dedication to teaching and scholarship.

His area of research is Modern Literature, where he explores the changing ideas, voices, and experiences reflected in literary works. He believes that literature helps us understand not only language and culture but also the complexities of society and human life.

Dr. Chattopadhyay is also an acting Ph.D. Supervisor at the University of Burdwan. He enjoys guiding young researchers and encouraging them to think critically, ask meaningful questions, and contribute to the growth of literary studies.

Through his teaching, research, and academic guidance, he continues to inspire students to develop a lifelong interest in literature, independent thinking, and scholarly excellence.
