    Netaji Mahavidyalaya, Kalipur believes in fostering a learning environment that is safe, secure and cohesive. With a firm commitment to endorsing the Constitutional mandate to combat sexual harassment, the college maintains a zero-tolerance policy against such misconduct. Uploading principles of gender equality, the institution ensures the prevention of any form of gender discrimination, sexual harassment, and gender violence.

    In pursuance with UGC (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Institutions) Regulations, 2015 read with Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) has been constituted.

    Objective:

    • To prevent and address incidents of sexual harassment within the college.
    • To ensure compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013.
    • To create an environment where individuals feel safe to report incidents of sexual harassment without fear of victimization.
    • To promote gender equality, dignity, and respect for all college community members.
    • To provide support and assistance to victims of sexual harassment.
